Sander Cruz, auteur en illustrator van het boek Druppy in de wereld vol kleuren, haalde zijn Bachelor of Fine Arts aan de University of Santo Tomas in Manila.
Hij woont en werkt als grafisch ontwerper, illustrator en multimedia kunstenaar in Taguig City in de Filipijnen, met zijn vrouw en dochter, katten en hond.

Het idee voor het karakter en voor de hoofdthema’s van Druppy in de wereld vol kleuren – het laten ontdekken van de pracht van kleuren en de natuur – is ontstaan tijdens een reis van de auteur naar Europa. Druppy in de wereld vol kleuren is zijn eerste boek, maar er zijn al volop ideeën voor volgende avonturen.

Sander Cruz, author and illustrator of the book ‘Dewy in the World of Colors’, received his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the  University of Santo Tomas in Manila.
He works and lives as graphic designer, illustrator and multimedia artist in Taguig City in the Philippines, with his wife and daughter, cats and dog.

The ideas for the main character and the themes of ‘Dewy in the World of Colors’ – discovering the beauty of colors and nature – came during a trip of the author to Europe. ‘Dewy in the World of Colors’ is his first book, but there are lots of ideas for further adventures.
